Yep that was us. Hoping to wet a line saturday or early next week so will check it out round that part. Is the big round lake at the very end of the complex part of Nar Valley or is that a syndicate?

Think I may have seen you. Was in the black astra. Got a bit if a shock when I got out of the car to see the amount of water. Didnt know any of it exsisted and joined by chance. Looks really good tho. Geneva bit daunting mind! Blokes on far end were saying it was unusually busy due to just reopening but so much water to go at. Cant wait to wet a line. Just got to pick up as many tips as possible and go for it.

Am going down for first session on Saturday. Which is the best lake to try and what rig and baits should I use? Anyone know the actual stock levels? Any info gratefully received.

I blanked on first three trips before getting it right. Had first outing on cabin lake few weeks back and had a lovely looking 16lb 8oz common from in the second bay from the cabin. Everyone else had lines across to the island and were power casting, stuck to my guns and went just under bush on far edge of bay. Paid off, just got to watch the cats as they frequent in there too. Enjoyable place to fish once you get used to the buzzing of the power lines! The karaoke on the occassional Saturday is something to behold as the 'tones' work there way down the lakes!!

Had a Lynn ticket last year and had a few visits. Average was coming out about 5lb but whole place teeming with them. Was a fish a chuck almost

PS Specimen Lake not the big lake on Google! That's the ski lake.

Hi mate,
Margins and tight to the overhanging bushes your best bet. Snowman rig done the trick for me everytime. Open water or on the mussel beds you will get plagued with Bream non stop! Speci lake is almost C shaped if that helps!

6 lakes in total. By sound of it many hold upper doubles to 30+. Geneva a big water with unknowns. Complex record was apparently a new fish. Only prob is weed in Geneva gets really heavy and hard to punch through or find silt patches. Waiting for my permit to come thro and once season open am targeting Geneva for a 30+. Have info on lakes that Chris emailed me, will dig them out when home and PM you.

Don't suppose you have heard of West Lexham Moat? The name keeps coming up on searches but I can't find a thing about it anywhere. All I know is it's close to Kings Lynn.

Hi all. Pentney is open for fishing. www.willowcroftfishfarmandfisheries.co.uk. Am heading there next week for first overnighter hopefully. Another member put me onto it as I saw website and thought same. £20 for 24 hours on specimen lake and £15 for 24 hours on the others. Hope this helps.

Boy is Geneva weedy! Was hard work and not even a bleep. Lovely place though packing up in bit and can't wait to be back.
