Hi, The riddings is a nice looking place with some stonking fish in there but i wouldn't really say its suited for disabled anglers, pegs 1,2,3 are the shortest walk but its fairly hilly and very rocky so not the most stable grounds, The costs are £12 for 3 rods, thats for everyone and yes you will need to book, And for sundays you will be VERY lucky to get 2 pegs together

I fish there quite often and know people who fish it most days, Zigs dont work on there for some reasoon ? Get on the natural bait, maggot, worm, cockel etc they will all outscore the rest, Get on pegs 8.9.10 and youll stand a good chance.

i had a wonder down today, looked very nice, incept for the amount of people on there! Will be down there every day for the next 2 week but weekends and tomorrow!

Canal pool is syndicate only mate. VERY hard water aswell I know 4 people who are fishing pine on sunday, so get there early for the better pegs!!

Its going to be hard, there hard pegs as there is and with it being a saturday most pegs will be taken, i would only fish 1 rod tight to the far bank, 1 in the middlle and one down the margins, Fish very little bait ( bags at the most) And Stay until as late as possible, last time i fished peg 1 had a 18lb 11oz common at final knockings, Fished 6 all day and lost 1 fish, moved to 1 for the final half hour and had it.. Not worth it mate! 40 quid.. from sat mornin till sunday night.. £4,50 a day. there for £9 for 2 days... Ylu can fish from 4:30am to 11pm.. there fore for 5hr 30mins that doesn;t see many fish caught your paying £31

To learn there in a month is good going, i know people who have been fishing it every other week and some of them haven't caught in over 2 years!! But once you crack it it can be a easy water at times.. And the 20s under the rod tip aree a nightmare :L:L There so frustrating :L:L

Why dont you give Swan pool, ( next to pine pool a go) instead? i;ve had fish to over 20 from here , alothough its much big and a bit harder theres some big fish in there and some BIG bream if you interested in them

Never had any problems with the moorhens but the seagulls can be a pain, If fishing on the surface fish the beachcaster and they stay well clear. Oh and try the cell

Oh and i strongly advise you not to fish the right hand bank

Definetly, And DONT ignore the margains, all of my biggest fish theere have came within 10 yars on the bank

I wouldnt ask jason..hes a noddy If you after some mid doubles and a possible 20 then go on peg 8 and cast to the far right margain to the over hanging tree. and you WILL pick up a couple of fish but they tend to be smaller, If you fancy a bit of surface fishing then any of the points will do, feed ALOT of doggies ( i tend to go through 5-7kg most session on there) Most of the points will produce fish if you chuck it out to the gravel patches and stick out 20-30 boilie around it. Also try a bit of stalking as these do produce alot of fish also, a good place to try is the first point on the left hand side, there is some Large sedge on a kind of island , about 10 yards out fish just before this its about 2-3ft deep but alot of fish do patrol here, Zigs are also worth a try.. Anything else you need to know?

Unless you want a awful lot of blanks, and fishing with complete noddys , i wouldnt put a great deal of time there tbh mate. Have done a fair bit of time on there, and had some decent fish to show for it, but theres some idiots fishing there mate
