    hooks

actually taking it out of the back also works but if you take a hook like the fox SR the eye is out turned by just a small fraction and I find that to be just enough ie same rig with an SR and if you compare a fox SSBP and SR you can see the difference
  2. If you are still looking for places to fishin NL ( around Amsterdam) drop me a mail / PM and I will pass on some info

    hooks

actually if you tie a flourocarbon rig with an inturned eye you will notice that the angle can get a little acute between the line and the hook ie something like a fox SR whilst not full out turned will be a lot better
  4. I would look at the Fox Illusion for all around use, the korda for stiffness ( note if you want real stiffness look at bristle) I swapped from Korda to fox this year and the results speak for themselves 18lb linear last weekend when it was so cold the landing net let in freezing to anything it touched, part of a 5 fish haul taken on chods and 1 on a bottom bait. All chods were 15lb fox illusion
  5. there are actually 3 ways Hi you can actually lassoo it with floss, use an elastic band on the rig ring and hiar rig or use a solar spiker. Of the 3 the solar spiker is fool proof hope the mods dont mind ( 2nd post and 2nd link) but here is an article on the 3 ways with the pro's and cons of each http://www.masterblanker.com/2010/02/28/attaching-your-hook-bait-to-a-chod-rig/ My vote goes for the spiker each time, quick and effective
