Been thinking about the moselle in maybe the metz area but only because ive heard a few people talk about this area and its not that far from calais. Does anyone know anything about this area? Night zones, camp sites, licences, parking etc

Hi all, I seem to go in and out of my obsession for carp fishing and have done for about 13 years. Starting to get the bug again but cant be doing with rammed out lakes over here all the time fighting over swims. The french rivers appeal to me. Im sure they are challenging but can anyone give me any info on them. I know thats a bit vague but im not really fussed what one but would like to do nights and maybe go for a week. Cheers, any info appreciated
