  1. Can you post the link i can not find it cheers.
  2. How did you get on? I might give it a go so let me know please. Thanks
  3. Have you fished there recently? I went about a month ago and it was quite slow, i think due to spawning. Just wondering if they had started feeding again because i might go next week. Cheers.
  4. Well i've only fished it once, but the day after i was talking to my mate about fishing there and he said that his dad has fished quiet a few matches down there. I went and spoke to his dad and he told me that you often catch Carp in the margins along with Tench, Roach, Bream and Crucians on the usuall baits; meat, corn, maggot etc. I don't think there are many big carp in any of the lakes, but lake 3 and 1 have the biggest so either one of these may be best to beat your PB. On the ledger i would try pellets or meat. If you are wanting to catch a PB Carp or even decent size Carp on float then go to Willinghurst. I'm not telling you to go here instead, but deffinately give it a go another time.
  5. What are you going for in terms of fish and size?
  6. Fished there last Tuesday, very slow i think due to the fish spawning. I caught two fish up to 18lb. A man had been fishing for 4 days and had 2 fish. I would say avoid it for a while just to make sure the fish have finished spawning. I'm considering trying it again as it offers easy chances of catching fish and fish into high 20's, low 30's. This obviously is very appealing, but the condition of the fish is very poor . If i was you and want an easy day catching fish then give it a go and decide for yourself if you want to go back...

  8. Firstly, the lake isn't deep at all. It averages about 3ft and the deapest part of the lake is supposedly 5ft. I wouldn't recommend it at all, during the close season last year over 40 Carp died. This doesn't help when it is already under stocked. The baliffs said that they were going to re-stock it this year, but i'm not to sure if they are going to/have. Float fishing can be okay at times but still not worth making the trip for. If you're looking for a place to catch lots of fish on the float then i would look at joining Long Corpse, Fetcham. It's hard to find on the internet because it's a lake that belongs to Leatherhead and district angling society, not sure how much it costs for adults, but it's £30 for juniors. Last season i went for a day trip and caught over 70 fish averaging 1lb, mainly Carp, some Goldfish(seriously) and Tench. All caught on luncheon meat.
