I live 5 miles down the road from this lake and have fished it loads of times. It hold quite alot of doubles with a few 20's in it. Best tactics are to fish 6 feet off the island in the day and drop back into the open water at night. You do seem to catch more at night.
Tactics wise, solid bags work great as do lightly baited spots with particles or a good spread of boilies, corn works well, boilie wise kg1 active8 and cell work the best, fish a snowman for the bigger fish. The lake is heavly pressured full most weekends. The best pegs are 3,5,7,10,11 and 15 at that time of year....
