im going for 24 hours in 2 weeks time and then for 4 days from 26th december. Ill have new gear so cant wait to try it out tight lines

alright lads, did you lot manage to get a session in. if so did anyone catch ? i need help on rigs really bad so if you lot wouldnt mind giveing me some help cheers. tight lines.

pet, was there any carp on the top ? when there is a strong current on the water if i was you i would go to the shallower end if you know what i meen and fish on the float on fake corn and 2 pinkies. The reason i say this is because i saw it on a matt hayes dvd lol it worked forhim it may for you he landed a 7lb tench, a small carp about 5lb, a 11lb 4oz, and a 19lb grassie and also a 25lb grassie thats quite unbelievable lol if he can do it i dont see why we cant lol. im heading down there this weekend hopefully but ive got a feeling i might just take a stalking rod and a mixer. whens the next time anyone else is up there will be good to get some info on how its fishing when i get up there corn and maggits forme then and mixer tight lines ive never written this much before lol

can you still use your own pellets if so i used 14mm halibut pellets on a size 12 linked up to a hair. with a little bag of there feeder pellets, you have to by there feeder pellets i think. if that dont work then have a go with a hair rigged fake corn and use a fake maggit as a stopper. any more info needed just pm me. tight lines

i went down brownhills canal early this morning by the tesco i had a lovely little 7lb carp did a nice little scrap to. anyone want to do a social on the canal, the more the merrier tight lines

sorry only just got back from a 24 hour at pool hall. unluckily i didnt manage a carp but a bream i will deffinitly be going again though. i had alot of action at pool hall tho with dozens of carp. tight lines all

The owners off pool hall are quit kind, my old man know wobble ( as we call him ) , so we only give him 10 pound for a 24 hour we went at 11 am on the saturday and then we packed up on the sunday at around 6 pm we had a few carp in resonable weights. tight lines

hi all i went up sandwell valley on the weekend i was useing a open end feeder pop up corn on the hook. I only had one run lol. The fishing aint poor there i think if you have patience and you know what youre doing then eventually you with have a few, too many bream showing a man a few pegs from me had a good en looked the 9lb mark to me. i might do a few more nights up there if anyone fancies it ??. anyway tight lines...

ye, i heard that a lady pulled a 22lb out she had it on maggits on the top pool i regularly fish middle or stock ive had a 17 from the n the old manz ad a 19lb 12oz so there are some desnt fish in there floatin bread works well for me, i had a 6 lb bream on bread lol thts never happeneded before .. im there saturday tight linesand i wish you all the best of luck.

I have fished salford park about 4 times. I have had a few carp out up to doubles but its come to the point when it is just to weedy. Anyone got any tips on rigs and baits for the bigger carp ect because no matter what i do its just full of weed. People say that salford park is very dangarouse when your on your own (im only 14 ) but that doesnt put me off what puts me of is the weed i need help. Anyone fancy a social up there comment please. I watch these carp everday because my dad works by there hes had them up 21 lbs i have saw them in there 10's very big fish i go around fishing it with a hair rigged snowman and a tiny bag of crushed boilies and f1's or i use an open ended swim feeder and i also take a good old stalker rod which i have ad great succes on anyway i cant be bothered to write any more lol help needed on rigs that wont get stuck in weed ect anyone wana social there to prove that its not a rubbish water because thats what i have herd on several other forums cheers w.b tight lines
