  1. Hi has anyone fished this venue in the summer. Thinking of going next august and wondered how the dam end (peg 1) fished in the heat. Takinh the mrs and was going to book the chalet. Any help appreciated.
  2. Hi everyone, Looking to book a trip up for next year want to take the mrs. She wants a place with a chalet so it's best if i keep her happy. Anyone been to Domaine de Morgard or know anyone else who has been? It's hard to find any info on the place other than speaking to the guy at Dream Fishing Holidays who obviously has an interest it promoting it. Cheers in advance to anyone who can help.
  3. Hi mate, bin going to Saisons for a few years now. Nice little pit, had quite a few low 30s but only 1 40. A couple of my mates have had 40s out but most the fish are low 20's. Average between 5-10 each per week. The weed is bit of pain in the backside in the summer but its not chocked. The whole lake fishes alright as the fish move around a lot. As you can now fish off the island those swims have been the best for us the last few years. Most the fish have been caught about 4ft of the tree line. We caught most on bolies over a reasonable bed of spod. As the other reply said, peg 1 and 2 are shallower, so the rats go after your baitsp stik well clear. My mate had one bite through his bivvy and ate through his rusksack into his food while he was asleep. The vermin are everywhere as soon as it gets dark. I hung my net up in a tree and they ate a hole in it during the night. Also, take a load of bug spray coz in the summer you get eaten alive. I had all sorts in my bivvy, even with the mozzy net up and incense sticks burning. The near margin round by the bridge fished well the last two trips. We are going in July so will let you know how we get on. Edited to remove swearing. Please don't do it again. Stoogi.
