  1. SCAC are very busy IMO as ashton are much quieter. Simple anwer is if you want more fish Cerney is for you if you want it a bit quieter then ashotn is far far better. I have fished both for years and much prefer ashton keynes lakes. watermark/little horshoe are fine if you like illegally stocked dodgy fish.
  2. simple answer is it a pressured water so do not listen to Andy the owner as he is full of it just do what your confident in and do you own thing,
  3. bit clicky is an understatement! the fish lke the lilly beds and can be found there when it's warm. the very far end swim can be good along the drop off. dont ignore what they call no carp bay
  4. evesham is good if you like lots of little fish. Actually the day pegs are the best one's on the lake fishing to the far bank
  5. sorry can't say on the open forum as it's a no publicity water and we don't tell anyone where it is unless they are seriuosly going to joim. only 10 man syndicate with 1 place left for this year. pm me for info if you like
  6. syndicate wise you could join watermark which has klittke horshoe although there stock origin is dodgy, and bradleys which now has 1000's carp. lots of club waters around here as you probably know akac, scac etc but not runs waters, wickwater is probably the easiest of the bunch. there are syndicates to get away from the crowds like the one I am on but the fishing is not easy and you pay for it
  7. I don't think th two go together, runs waters aregenrrally day ticket and most syndicates are harder waters. where about in wiltshire? how far will you travel? how much preparred to pay etc
  8. cotswold water park best bet for you for bigger fish and quieter lakes, pm for info on syndicates
  9. Fish whelkford loads over the years, It gets way too busy now so I have joined a good syndicate in the area. Some nice fish in whelford though.. Everyone alwasy says small bags to the margins with poups etc so I always did the opposite and put lots of bait in and always caught well.
  10. plenty of waters in the cotswold water park, Ignore the commercial places like wildm, oor and little horshoe and you wont go far wrong.
  11. Poleaxe chiollout, I never said wick and ham where all noddies I said they where full of them, which is true. The majority of anglers on boht these lakes are a nightmare. I have lived and fished the waterpark for over 20 years and there are now more instant carp anglers than ever and these two lakes attract the most of them. Most people around the park are very secret squirrel with good reason as everyone from bristol eand wales come up here now. I know a couple of very good abnglers that still fish wick but they also say it's full of noddies.
  12. Cheer chrsi I got the Pm and replied to you today. Can't name the syndictae on here it's strictly private no publicity. not a commercial venture like watermark or wildmoor!!
  13. The entire wildmoor site is 4.5acres the lake itself is more like 3 acres. They say maximum 8 anglers but wehn I look over the fence there are many times that the owner has crammed more on and lots of unhappy customers
  14. pm me about syndicates as I am ona very good one that I know will have two spaces at end of march? whitefriars has around 150 fish I beleive
  15. Not much weed anymore as it gets treated each year I beleive? Too busy for me, 10 people on 3 acres!!
