    I'm in Tamworth, I fished the Cov canal alot, its full of carp. I found them 25 years ago, they were singles then, no doubt bigger now

    not alot of carp left in there, and you will be taking your life in your hands if you fish there. It's no suprise its free. Plenty of better places around

    fished it about 15 years ago, was a good water then, been spoilt a bit since. Don't think you can fish it anymore tho. I think that you have to be an employee of one of the units by it that now own the land Bill

    I fished it with Wayne Dunne ages back, some superb fish in there, dead mans shoes now tho

    2 x Carp over 40+, real nice fish in there. Open to the public on day ticket. Beautiful looking lake. Don't listen to anyone telling you the fish are dead or stolen, its just some of the loons down there trying to keep it to themselves the park is just outside Worsop, fish stocks are around 100+. Some right lumps in there Bill
