you always try Etang des landes. Great venue for a first trip to France. I was a france virgin until two years ago. Small water with good fish in it. The top weight is probably getting close to 50 now with a good head of 20's and 30's. Me and 3 mates are going again this July. good hunting Barters

Jimmy, I suggest you try here: etangdeslandes.co.uk about 300 miles from Boulogne, me and 4 others have been twice now and booked again for next May. Lovely place set in the heart of the French countryside. Good head of Carp 20's, 30's and 40's. Brilliant hosts. Highly reccomended. cheers Barters Andy

Here's the place : http://www.etangdeslandes.co.uk/ Me and 4 mates fished there for a second year w/c 14 June. Great week, great lake, great hosts and most of all great fishing. Check out the website. Its about 100 mile nearer than Mirrorpool and easy to find.
