  1. Would you say that its better than the channel as I know that its a very good swim and supposebly the hardest to get onto. I dont think many ppl know that you can fish that swim unless your disabled. Thing is it must get a bit of noise with ppl going in the boats and ppl coming and going to the shop from nearby swims, dont you think??? As we had only 9 ppl on at the time we fished, I chose Dead Tree. It was too weedy to fish so I only did 1 night. But the baliffs went out and sprayed the water and believe me there was fish showing everwhere down there. I think david is getting concerned for his favourite fish 'frankenstein' thats what a few ppl said so hopefully whoever has him on will have a 50 in the sack this time. Roll on September...
  2. Thats where the 61 come out when we were there... Only 2 fish come from there though, all week.... BUT the 61 I'll be over there in September end of, and hopefully get on the river for a few days with David...
  3. I recommend barbed hooks down to a size 2, test 4's and 6's BUT I am going to take 2's back small 2's though not the nash 2's they are big enough to catch a crocodile. The baliffs are all absolutely top guys, People need to get into Davids and Toms head to get on the fish if you are having trouble. Work the swim, and get out in the boat and keep the swim feeding on the particles which are only £15 a go... Its hard work on the boat BUT well worth the rewards. As soon as you get a run, get in the boat as few snags which get you just as you think the fish is in ;-( Hot swims are, Nash Bay, Channel swim, Boards, Chateau which I fished and was awesome BUT only if kingfisher and dead tree aren't fished at same time, Dead tree and The Sanctuary. To be honest they are all awesome just ask the baliffs on the quiet before the draw is taken and they will tell you how they got on the week before and where has been producing. Anyone wanna know anything just ask!!!
  4. Just back from Nash lake, it was fantastic. There was a 61 caught, and I think everyone had a 40+ carp, as it was my first time there, I didn't know too much about what gear to take and subsequently lost around 12-13 fish and with an average size of 30 + you can imagine how frustrated I was getting.
