Its alright theres plenty of carp between 15-28lb and 1 31lb which was caught in the winter just gone, there are about 40 cats and the biggest is 40 odd, hope that helps the website explains everything as for nights its realy good you get no trouble as its locked at night, hope that helps! Jonty

Mate dont even go there! fishing is terrible, the bayliff is loopy! and you get stupid people with bait boats going through your swim all night long!!!

Matt hayes dvd is a load of rubbish mate trust me he fished it during closed season wen no one was around the shallows are full of ducks and dogs swimming in the lake alot of people fish there but usualy end up moving becase of all the noise just try the dam wall that is probably the best place on the lake. Me and my mate went there last year and the baliff was a idiot! he said that we looked inexpirienced and we shouldnt fish his fishery me and my mate are both 16 and we have been fishin since we were 10 and we all have sufficient gear. also its a total rip off!!!!!!! edited to remove a naughty word, DON'T do it again

fished there tusday barley anyone caught, i was havin a chat to some of the anglers and they say that the grass carp on the surface are a waist of time and that you need to be out in the middle of the lake. Pop ups and sweetcorn work well there and maggot feeders can grab you a few nice tench. If you see a fish jump in your casting range wind in and cast straight too it wait 20 mins and you might have it.anythin else give us a pm petfjo edited for text talk
