    Problem with cudmore is that there are loads of little tiddlers in there too. Great if your just going for a bend in your rod, but if your after anything of any size then your in for a bit of disapointment. Colin

    Been a long time since I last visited it. Used to rate it yes, but from what I here from a few of the lads I know that still do fish it, its mainly just a run's water to get a bend in your rod's.

    Typicall, No info on Google either I have heard a few good things about the waters in the past but would like to see for myself too, So anyone else with any info pass it on

    Are they still letting the jet ski's on Trentham, that was the main thing that used to get on my nerves down there

    Due to a change of plan I never made it (don't you just love the Mrs ) But managed to get on to Hanchurch today and had a nice sesh. should hopefully be going in the next few week's but we will see where we get with that one

    I should be takeing a trip down there this week end, so I should be able too let everyone know what it's like (I hope )

    Apperanty it has been fishing quite well of late. Joby (pylons) was down there at the weekend and came out with quite a few nice looking mid doubles but nothing 20 or above, Hope that helps

    Home Farm Alsager? If so has been slow, a few of the nice ones coming out but has been cold over the last few months so as usuall for this time of year, my brother has done 6 sessions over the last 2 month, only caught 2, 12 1/2 and a 18 .

    we had a simular problem with an area i fish, we kept getting snaged up not just when getting a run but also when just retreiving. my mate hasa now changed to 20lb fox braid and hasn't lost a rig or fish since. (will be following suite at the end of the month)

    All depend's on the waters you a fishing, are there many snags etc ect.

    Good lad, i wish i had the time at home to be able to sort my kit out let alone make rigs up, i think thats why most of them get tied on the bank

    That maybe the case but the carps eyesight gets worse in winter, so they kind of balance things out. No need to scale down. Staying with 6s and 8s. I'm scalling down to 8's i use 8's anyway so no changeing for me

    where do you do most of you fishing at the moment. i'm down cudmore most weekend and yes you do get a fair few smaller one's on the pools but there are a few nice fish in there as well, a few weeks ago i came out with a nice 22 off avoca.

    Down there most weekends, best pools to get on to are either Avoca or Tara. both are good with Avoca haveing a few more 20s than Tara, + it has some cats aswell. if you need any more details just sent me a PM. Keep them line's tight
