bluebell lakes beautifull venue with some really big fish,but a very hard waters bluebell lake or mallard best if you want to catch,kingfisher has about 60-70 carp in but very big 1s

the woman is a nightmare,but i have had good days on home pool with 10-15 fish in a day session regular but for some reason my catch rate dropped to the odd 1 or 2 fish even blanking the last couple of times and with the miserable so and so as bailiff i don't use this fishery anymore

the bottom pool at shatterford ok there was no one on it when we went in the week and 5 lads on our lake and all of them were nice lads (not nutters)the fish i had 16lb 13lb were in good condition,but you do get numpty's at most venue's now anyway,sad i know but fact

i have just come back from shatterford lakes you can book there you can even book what pegs you want,(first come first choice basis they have 3 lakes but i would fish erics or stuarts lake if you want the kids to catch,you and your mate have options to go for big carp cats and sturgeon,warning tho long walk with kit up and down very steep hill,but if you got some little helpers shoudn't be problem.

i have walked round it but not fished it ,about a month ago, was going to fish it but it was really busy(weekend) so thought i'd try in the week as i'm off work,the info i got was to fish by the island ,obviously and to the left ov it round to the golf coarse side,was also told fishing by the hut hardly ever produces wether this correct i don't know?so anymore info would be thankfully recieved.

very busy place best swims are allways taken unless you are really lucky,very weedy aswell so make sure you take pop ups cork or foam with you.as some swims you can not find clear spots for bottom baits.unless you feel confident fishing in weed that is.

drayton reservior is about hours drive from birmingham or earlswood by solihull both fantastic for method or bagging waggler.200lb nets easy achievable even for average angler
