I understand what you mean by wanting a big fish but going on holiday is about relaxing a little sight seeing and maybe if ur lucky catch a few big carp thats what my holiday would be like but its everyone to there own

It Depends on what part of holland you want to fish. I live in the northern part and the fishing is great. There is only one place i know of that you have to pay for carp fishing the rest are free and i have caught some nice fish from these free places. Also i have stated in another part of this forum where i live in a 10 mile radius i have choice of at least 50 ponds....lakes.....canals and rivers where i can fish for carp.
