  1. Hi will, i'm the one sunbathing in the pics on the Nash write up, I really do recommend it, quite expensive but it was such a relaxing week away, totally hassel free. They will not tollerate any excessive drinking and certainly no illigal substance taking so if thats what your into then don't bother to book it. If, like me, you like a few beers and are happy to stop at that then you will have a fantastic time, I hope my little write up has helped you decide where to take your next frence trip too.
  2. One of the lads is of the larger kind and i'm a bit concerned they may put a charge on for his backside being a seat and a half wide....! They charge you to take a leak on the plane but as we are all truck drivers we will all p up the wheel before take off
  3. Why are you not allowed to put your spools in your bag? is it something to do with the line and tying people up? You could cut the pilots head off.... Similar reason you can't take lead weights on cos you could put them in a sock and knock someones head off....!
  4. Thats great , i have stuffed the spools, in a protective case, down the centre of my sleeping bag in main hold luggage, thanks again people..
  5. Hi guys, I and 7 mates are off to Nash lake on the 15 may , we've been trying to find out about the hand luggage rules.... Does anyone know if we can take our reels in hand luggage or do they have to go in the hold If they can go as hand luggage do the spools with the very dangerous, life threatening line have to be took off and put in the hold... I know all terminal tackle with knifes hooks etc have to go in the hold which i fully appreciate but we have some concern about the reels being slung about on and off the plane...... Please put my mind at ease, Cheers, Darren
  6. Stick with weeley, the new predator lake has big carp in it, i landed a 23.5lb mirror on the 11th dec, 1am on active8 boilie , made a stringer of 8 boilies and just left it out there, it sat for 14hrs before the take, it's not "easy fishing" anywhere this time of year but it can pay off.. It is over 18's on that lake! I'm 35 but still take my Dad as it makes me feel better.....
