Hi there, I used to fish the Horse Shoe quite a lot. Had a few out, nothing over 10Ib, although this was 5 years ago. Good sport in the sumer having them off the top, don't know what it's like now though!

Hi there, I used to wander round this lake in the mid nineties watching the occasional large carp been pulled out at the reedy end ( the end of the lake on the right as you walk down from the car park ). This was before my interest increased to the level it is today. I now live a lot further away , but was wondering if it is still fished, and if so, are there decent fish still pulled out of there? ( Condition wise as well as size wise? ) Cheers Simski

Funny i should pick up on your thread. I was thinking about Clifton the other day. I used to fish there years ago, before he made money from letting dirt trucks deposit tons of mud around the lakes at a profit for him. He ruined twin peaks, and the one side of the Serpentine, said he was landscaping it. It just looked a mess in the end. I would be interested in hearing what he is upto now. I guess he's still an unhappy chappy!
