any fished slipe lane (turnford pits)? if so any tips, im looking at joing for the winter months

im going fishing for a week in france next friday and counting every second until i go, i cant wait

Iv only fished France once, any recommendations on Hooks to use. Im going to be using boilies as all particals have been banned on the lake im going to.

is it the roseau with angling lines? If so try and get on the deep section of the large lake, which is about 2 acres cut off from the main part of the lake by a large spit (or whatever a large mound of mud is called). Me and my mate and about four other people on the main part of the lake which is 8ish acres struggled, with six fish between us. a group of five in the deep area caught ten fish each a day. Obviously the fish can move but this was the case with the group who fished the week before us, so get there early and speak to the guys packing up to see where was cathcing. Your holiday booklet will tell you your not allowed to get there early but you can still get on site. We went october last year, But yeah a bait boat to the middle of the main lake is defintly needed, you can hire his but there rubbish and he's a moody @£*&. Hope that helps

Just after a bit of advice, IM going to France in a couple of weeks, the lake im fishing has a muddy/clay lakebed. Any advice/recommendations on what hook link to use. iv heard the mantis dark although for silt is good for all types of dark ish lakebeds cheers

IM looking for a hook link for fishing an old estate lake which is very silty. Iv got a black coloured hook link made by suffix but as the lake’s very riggy IM a bit put off using it due to the plastic coating being shiny. any recommendations? Cheers
