is it the roseau with angling lines? If so try and get on the deep section of the large lake, which is about 2 acres cut off from the main part of the lake by a large spit (or whatever a large mound of mud is called).
Me and my mate and about four other people on the main part of the lake which is 8ish acres struggled, with six fish between us. a group of five in the deep area caught ten fish each a day. Obviously the fish can move but this was the case with the group who fished the week before us, so get there early and speak to the guys packing up to see where was cathcing. Your holiday booklet will tell you your not allowed to get there early but you can still get on site.
We went october last year, But yeah a bait boat to the middle of the main lake is defintly needed, you can hire his but there rubbish and he's a moody @£*&.
Hope that helps
