    Has anyone ever tried this before?? I thought about it and eventually made up some short booms to attack softer/supple braid onto so it ends up like a combi rig. I shall giv this rig a go on the weekend unless someone brings up any serious setbacks. tiger

    i heard of it in a magazine and on the carpfest program on sky (from thorpe Lea). cant quite remba all the bits and bobs of it but i believe it is fairly simple to danny fairbrasses' shocker rig with the partially runninng lead. tiger

    the withy pool rig is about as close as you are going to get nowadays. I saw someone using the bent hook rig at a local club water and he was using the old drenan lure hooks that the rig was invented on, he got a good talking to by the bailiff !! PMSL i wonder if he caught anything that day??? tiger

    dont you pull the hook through the bread at one end and then attach the hook to the other end? i think this is how its done and the whole point is to hide a bit of the line nearest the hook and to keep the bread lying flat therefore making it look more natural. hope this helps, tiger

    The korda wide gapes anyday, ten times sharper than anythin else, ten times lighter for greater hooking capabilities and the B ones is very strong. I think the ESP ones and Muggas are no way near as sharp and would never use em again afta a session i had where they went blunt so quickly!!! tigernuttom:)

    Im pretty aranoid bout ma hooks being sharp and i thought the raptors were shocking when i did all my usual tests and that got blunt very quickly if not blunt alredy. I also think this of the muggas but peeps are giving both these hooks rave reviews?? Have i gone mad?? lol!! I jus dont think they is sharp enuff, i now use da korda widegapes B in 10's and they are sharp as ******************!! Tiger:(

    but did you guys know that the rig was designed for fishing in weed? its a guud rig though for hooking. Mi step uncle fishes withy pool and says that rig is crud on ther now cus all the peeps hav hammered all the fish on it so they dont go anywhere nr it now!! tom:D

    I have looked on all the forums but cant find anywhere with diagrams of how to tie a uni knot? I am new to leadcore and heard this was the best way to tie it to the mainline? some diagrams or explanations would be greatfully received cheers tom:confused:

    I have always used the ESP anchor rig tube until i saw the fox camo leadcore in 45lb b/s in the shops. Iwos wondering wot wud be best to use and some of the pros and cons of the stuff?? thanx tommy:confused:
