  1. groundbait 30%meathod mix 70% brown crumb for both feeders on the bottom punched lunchen meat works well or 10 mil boilies cast every 10 mins on the bagging waggler same mix all ways done very well on 10 mil white boilies cast out every 3 mins on both rods its best to have a baitrunner reel dont put the bait on the hook use a knotles knot with a hair,if you are going to use both fish them at the same distance start fishing at about 2 foot deep on the bagging waggler and dont let go of your rod, on average drayton rake 100 rod of the bottom each year hope this helps
  2. hi mate if you are fishing the boads at drayton go on the meathod if it is warm then get on the bagging wagler

  6. hi mate ive fished that lake alot in the past and ad several double figure carp out so a 20lb carp would not suprice me
  7. fished there once found most of the other anglers ok the only problem for me was the rats i fish with the bivvy door open and at one point ad 3 rats in the bivvy door and 2 just outside,the place is all ways full and its all ways the same ones some do get up set if your in the swim they want but just tell them where to go

  9. hi agree lot of people think it is easy but it is not ive been twice and blanked twice going again in july on peg twelve,you dont pull your peg out of a hat you choose you peg when you book
  10. i see they are going to let you night fish at drayton ive fished there a lot in the past but not for about 5 years,how they are talking it is going to be a carp water instead of a match water just trying to think where you are going to the bivvy as it is the dam wall or on the boards cant think off any where to peg the bivvy down
  11. that is tom boultons old lake i know that is carp to 40lb i also herd it £390 a year but dont have any phone numbers to ring oh i also herd shelley is on there
  12. dont know mate the only thing i know is it was once angling directs lake it is near the bridge lakes
  13. does any one know any thing about the new lake in lenwade in norfolk i think it is near the bridge pub
  14. try using there boilies dont go for a pva bag just use a stringger off 3 boilies and get about 50 boilies scatted about get as close to the middle as you can dont worry about the features on the bottom they dont hold any fish for some reason
  15. hi mate dont no if its true or not but i heard barford have been kicked of as they have killed all the fish
  16. 2 years ago i watched a few carp near the football ground go down where argos is and boots go the bridge and have a look there where some good doubles swiming

  19. hi mate on one rod you need maggots on a korda klip and maggots in a pva bag,on the other m1 boilies you can get the boilies from the monument there is features on the bottom of the lake about 50 yards out from any swim hope this helps,allso go on the monument web site it will who is catching what
  20. not rat city i ad that at taswood last year,i was talking to barford this week they have been working down there since octoberhopeing to open in june
  21. hi mate barford have put a lot of carp in there from 15lb to 34lb14oz,also they have done a lot of work on the swims and they have put some more swims in plus some double swims sounds like it will be worth a look

  24. hi mate there are carp on the broads if you go to the little shopping complex near the big w walk down to the river stand on the bridge and watch you will see them seen about 7-8 swimming about between 10-15lb the water is clear so you will see them if they are still about there
