  1. well we only got an hour delay going out and they seem to have got onto of the whole incident very quick . yes we had a great week with good food super bailiff and catching 43 carp with 12 over 40lb and 1 of them over 50lb at 53lb kevin
  2. never fished st christophe sorry but there are many many other good waters infact to many to list and there are also ones that are not so good we all have are favourite waters who has ever gone over to france and would readerly reccommend them but what might be right for one is not all ways right for another. you only have to look down the list of waters posted in this whole section to see the choice is vast . i,ve fished several waters in france and apart from la horre (just did not get on well with the bailiff at the time 2002 ) which was the first water i ever fished its probably totally different now . i,ve been happy on all of them and they all had good points for why i like them but it would be wrong to suggest they would be right for yourselfs as you might want something different from your trip . i,m assuming this is your first trip to france if not i,ll apologise now for assuming but you need to ask yourself . how many of you are going ? what do they all want from there trip as well as yourself ? how much do you all want to pay ? do you want a whole lake / or part of a lake ?? do you want drive and survive or have meals and stuffed prepared for you ? how big a water ?? 5 acres 50 acres or 250 acres ect ect are you looking for a runs water or want to sit it out for a big fish ? how far do you want to travel ? i hope this helps kevin
  3. do you mean layfields next to the norwich union lakes ?? http://www.layfieldslakes.co.uk/ kevin
  4. yesterday there was a fire in the north tunnel heading to france due to this the tunnel services have been suspended . now for any concerned and are heading out today or tommorow you are going to find they will re-routing you to the ferry services but they have told me they hope to have the tunnel crossing up and running for monday so hopefully anglers traveling from monday SHOULD be ok which is good news as i,m heading out next week end regards kevin
