i used my simple rig to catch this 35lb 12oz common (known as the sergeant). this was just another contribution to my idea of sticking to what you are confident in.

In my opinion, the more simple the rig, the more effective (with the right materials). I use the ESP Sinklink, with the Kamasan B175 Fly Hook (size 6/8) tied straight to a korda ring swivel. no tubing, rings, loops, mini swivels, etc. im not saying that other rigs dont work, but i feel that the most simple rig u can get away with, the better. however, im a firm believer that if you are successfully catching on something, then STICK TO IT!
