Surely its all about balance . the float and weights being critically balanced so when a fish picks up the bait it feels no resistance and "lifting" the float. I personally like a double goose quill float .

what can you say about vandalism at worst its malicious at best its just ignorance.do they ever think of the consequences?. any way i am thinking of joining this year ,last fished there about ten years ago , there werent many carp in those days. big fish kill (blue green algae) finished my time on bosmere then. could any one tell me when to buy this years ticket is it about march time.
