i use a withy rig on all my pop up rigs n they allways get good hook holds with little damage to the mouth

i have just found out about this lake n it looks nice so deffo will b giving it ago myself this spring. so i too would like to hear from ppl who have fished it.

you need to make sure there is no water or dirt in it then u need to cut your line at on a slant with some sissors then dry your line keep your tubing straight and it should go through ok.
But some times its just a pain in the arss and im sure its the same for us all.

you could not realy use them on the hair as there a bit to soft but meybe you could get away with them if you only fished the margin

from what i can remember the shape ok it used to catch fish may be its not as good as some these days but for the time they were the best hook for me

i dont use them any more but when i did i had no problems with them at all but then againe i think esp are the worst hooks on the market but some people seem to love them.

talon tip used to be my choise years ago i only stoped useing them coz my shop stoped stocking them

I have not seen these hooks in any of the local shop now for a while does any one know if they still make them. For any one who is not to sure which ones im on about its the ones in the plastic case.

if you get a lump you will be lucky the only good fish i had are out of edwards but listen too much to me coz iv not been there for years

oh no not this place againe i had the worst seesion ever on there a couple of years ago. fist of all the place was i mud bath, then i broke my bivvy in the wind and had to sleep in my mates bivvy on the foor in the mud on a unhooking mat. plus we were up all night catching very small carp, chub and barbel. so when you go make sure you go on the main carp lake which is the one at the top of the hill.

i know a nice up and coming carp water near leigh.
its got a good few 20s in plus its just been stocked
with them simos fish in you can fish it on day ticket,
join the leigh club or synd

the lakes should be doing well as the fish have had a break my hook nlines in god knows how long
