Yeah I’ve watched the majority of Carls stuff, very useful cheers. i didn’t think of second hand tackle, just assumed a £50 rod new would be as cheap as it gets? I’ll go back to the drawing board 👍

Afternoon all, Im interested in starting Carp fishing and while Ive watched what seems to be every single video on YouTube ect I dont know anyone who fishes. So, the big question is where do I start? Do I just buy some inexpensive rods and reals plus all the rest (after looking I think essentialls would be around £500+) book a session and just crack on? Or is there a better way to start... Id like to just start with some day session and further into the summer do some overnighters. Any advice on starter tackle, lakes in the Surrey area would be great. Cheers,
