Yeah, ive caught on it but fishing a big pit where bites are hard to come by and its got me questioning! Good to know im not the only person that uses 25lb for everything 👍🏻

Thanks, good to know. Just for reassurance, 25lb not too thick for a iqd rig you think? Been using it this way for a while but just wondering

Been using a id D rig but with 25lb amnesia for a few years now, had a few decent fish on it but been wondering if i might have better results using a fluorocarbon. What do you think? Also if fluorocarbon, which one as amnesia is cheap rather keep it that way!

I use a heli set up, just got myself a bait baot, what i found rather quicky was when taking the boat out the slight tension on the line makes the bead pull right down to the lead. Not ideal. Anyone found a work around?

Just bought one, how accurate is the volt meter on it? Im super paranoid about running out of battery mid lake! Booklet says dont taking it out if it shows 5.8v or less but does that mean if its 5.9v i can? And how far!

Ive got rubber beads inserted inthe ends of the straw so it should be ok for now anyway, I'll test it later see how it works

Its 25lb amnesia? No good? Its pretty tough but i know you're saying , over time it will frey i guess.

Brilliant thanks, ive had a play and come up with this, i used a metal straw and 25lb mono through the middle, it seems to pull the deeper at a good angle where as just the mono would tilt the deeper. think I'll crimp a key ring loop to the back of the boat for quick change. might just stick with this if it works, do like saving me a few quid

How did you attach it at the boat end? Think im going to do the same but will have to drill a small hole at the back of the boat, unsure how im going to attach the mono though

Ive got a deeper, i just bought a bait boat, im now skint for this month, is there a reason i cant tow the deeper using braid instead of buying a mount? Just for now of course
