hi everyone i just wanted to know if anyone fishes manor farm in biggleswade, and if you have do u have any tips on how to fish the carp lake. I've fished there a few times with only a little success. any advice would be greatly received. many thanks

Hi mate. I've only fished Winters lake a couple of times, never the Carp lake. I've heard they respond well to a bit of bait in the Carp lake - and the method feeder with plastic corn on the hair is a good option.

i fish carp lake alot and it is best finding a gravel spot or some light weed and spodding particles, with either maize or boilie on the hair

Not really mate. I've caught every time (3 weekends only) I've been there. They seem to get caught on all sorts. Probably a bit late now, but well worth keeping an eye out for fish sub-surface - they are very partial to a floater in there (if you can keep the birds at bay).
