danm1 Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 Hi mate. I've only fished Winters lake a couple of times, never the Carp lake. I've heard they respond well to a bit of bait in the Carp lake - and the method feeder with plastic corn on the hair is a good option. Quote
princeofcarpness Posted March 26, 2010 Author Report Posted March 26, 2010 nice one mate........i'll give that ago. what about winters any advice on that Quote
samcfc Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 i fish carp lake alot and it is best finding a gravel spot or some light weed and spodding particles, with either maize or boilie on the hair Quote
danm1 Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 Not really mate. I've caught every time (3 weekends only) I've been there. They seem to get caught on all sorts. Probably a bit late now, but well worth keeping an eye out for fish sub-surface - they are very partial to a floater in there (if you can keep the birds at bay). Quote
