do you mean Cambridge FPAS ?

if so yeh its ok i have been a member for about 5-6 years only because a good friend of mine lives in newmarket i probably fish their waters about 4-5 times a year.

it does have its issues their are certain waters i wouldn't fish alone unless your pretty confident you can look after yourself as some of their waters do have problems with travelers.

Heritage lake in cottenham has some ok fish in it if you get them on the feed your grab yourself some nice looking upper doubles all night and all day long.

Plus the possibility of a couple of good 20's.

these fish have shown some good growth rates over the last few years!

there is a large travelers site at the entrance to this lake and to be fair they have never really bothered me but they know your up that long drive in the middle of nowhere and how many or not have gone up there.

! I was once up their by myself and all of a sudden their was plumes of smoke in the old shed at the end of satchal drove then saw two lads legging it across the fields follwed by a police helicopter :roll:

Nevergrove is a stunning little water again somewhere you can go and have fish all day long recomend light tackle in here as its only small and doesn't really warrent the all out carp approach it does have some nice koi in but the common and mirror carp arn't ggonna go anywhere over 10-12lb maybe a surprise in their i don't know :?::?::?: but i doubt it the size of the lake and the stock would't really lend its hand to produceing a twenty + fish - a match tactics approach would fill your keepnet up in here!

Block fen Mapal is a lovely lake with some absoloutly mint carp in big and stunning fish i do know that this lake has had its fair share of problems with travellers and if you do a google search you will find verious forums mentioning the ups and downs of this water and the local wildlife !

as for the other water i cant speak for them as i have never fished them.

all in all for the money the club is good with a good selection of waters to suit all angling needs and ability but it really depends on what you want from your fishing over the next season. i would say that the ticket prices reflect on the up keep of the club with little in the way of facilities resulting in a fair bit of litter and to be honest their is only so much of other peoples rubbish you can pick up and take home with you. the river fishing is also good with some good pike fishing on the Camb but like i say it really depends on what your looking for ! Good luck and tight lines

Dan
