millsy1 Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 Ive bin 2 france quiet a few times now and always wonder how long should my hooklengths be? some say short som say long any tips? Quote
carpquarry Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 For me I dont think you can beat Korda wide gap hooks/hairs for fishing in France sizes 8,6 or 4s. I put the size of hook to size of bait size 8 for maize & 12mm boilies, size 6 for 15/18mm and 4s for bigger baits I also find the length of the hair to be perfect 6 to 12" long coupled with a safty clip lead system Quote
danm1 Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 You're wondering how long your hooklinks should be in France? I think trying to have a "one-approach-fits-for-the-whole-of-France" is probably a bit ambitious - maybe you could narrow it down a bit? Maybe there's a right answer for North France - and one for South France? Quote
danm1 Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 Having seen your profile - reckon you should stick to the golf! Quote
