Help with Carp Rigs

fishingdetective

Recommended Posts

Can someone kindly show me some diagrams and descriptions of a few of the standard rigs used in carp fishing ( running lead rig, bolt rig, zig rig etc). If you could use labelling for all tackle used on the rigs it would be very much apreciated.

At the end i would like to go to the tackle shop and buy all tackle needed to constuct these rigs and costuct them.

Carp Fishing is a whole different ball game, and the understanding and different tackle needed is vast and greatly different to that of course fishing in general. I have understood that to know course fishing is not to know Carp fishing.

Many thanks and appreciation

HI Mate,

There is a sticky on Rig Tying showing basic Rigs:

The Tubing I use is Solar and is normally 5-10cms longer than the Rig.

Solar Run Ring, Buffer bead all make up the rest. The reason I use Solar is that it works for me and I personally think that it is better stuff than Korda!

You can get the Solar Running rig set as a complete pack, they also do the Semi-Fixed Bolt Rigs

Accesories or Business End on their website

If you look up Zig Rig as a Specific Thread i think you'll find a few threads come up with some Pics!
