i was a regular fishing 2 to 3 times a week,never night fished tho, i like my home comforts it did fish well at night

just letting you know hollyhurst is a fairly new fishery only opened bout 2 years,it takes a few years to establish and fish to settle so give it a go,its very open no cover so you will need a shelter.i had most carp with luncheon meat but boilies are good.

did a night at hollyhurst friday..had 8 fish too 18lb..

nice little water for an overnighter and a good chance of a 20!!!!

 

Hi am thinking of doing 48hr session at Hollyhurst do you have any tips on the place ie. if to spod what the lake bottom is. And baiting stratagies for this venue

last time i went thay was like 6 or 7 cats mouching about the lakes nicking your baits 2 dogs and 3 big bird things

 

i thinks its all about the money in nicks eyes not the fishing ?
