toby_mills Posted October 2, 2009 Report Share Posted October 2, 2009 Beatties is a nice lake mate. Its got a good head of fish and a decent chance of a twenty. Its a pressured water though so requires a little thinking outside the box if you want to do well. The majority of anglers that go there fish the same styles and methods and the carp are pretty clued up on this now so try and work out what peeps are doin... then do something different All in all a fun lake with nice swims and good people running the show. l3w15 Posted October 3, 2009 Author Report Share Posted October 3, 2009 you are spot on. i went last week for 48 hours. had three mirrors 14, 16 and 18lb. but it did take till the second day to find out how to get them. hard work but well worth it with the quality of the fish.
