misterrun Posted July 3, 2009 Report Share Posted July 3, 2009 Hiya. I visited there about four maybe five years ago. From what I remember, there are 3 pools. The bottom one is supposed to be the carp one, the middle one was full of rudd, and I mean full! But there are carp in there. The top pool which is in front of the clubhouse, I was catching them from under my feet. Sweetcorn on the hook, keep feeding sweetcorn, and wait. That was on a float. I was feeding and keeping still, and they were literally fighting for the bait. Get a lot of "line bites" though. I was only there for an afternoon, as I was staying at Revel's, just up the road, so to speak. All arond the 10 to 12 pound mark. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
