campart Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 new to carp fishing and finding it hard to put the stop in has anyone got any good advice !!!!!!!!! many thanks Quote
trees Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 Make the loop bigger (if need be) and pull the needle further through the bait. If you are using the standard cone (sort of) shaped stops, make sure the thinner end of the cones goes through the loop first. Other than that I'm afraid its just a matter of fiddling about until it goes in. Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 The easiest ones to use are the thin V shaped ones:) Quote
salokcinnodrog Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 Only problem with the V shaped ones is they can pull through a Bait. Quote

carp_mad_man Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 I use a little bit of a twig easy to put in the loop and looks more natural. sam Quote
salokcinnodrog Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 I get green Hair Stops for nothing, the complete tags. I can't remember the last time I actually bought any. Quote
