Hello everyone, I am thinking of going to charente in south of france in august for a week with the missus and was hoping if anybody could giv me sum pointers on fishing the public lakes. Location, size, quality of carp fishing that sort of thing, many thanks

There is a thread somewhere called "2 x day Ticket waters Charente".

 

There is an excellent day ticket water at Chef Boutonne. My fishing friend has had two 30+ pounders out in the last two sessions using method feeder and tiger nut boilies.

Hi there, have a look at a place called Etangac I think thats how you spell it if its not I'll send it to you again. Its recently been drained so not sure what went back or whether they re stocked it but if you ask around I expect someone will know.
