craig18 Posted April 1, 2009 Report Share Posted April 1, 2009 Hi guys been carp fishing for a season now and me and a mate wanna get a season ticket, we have recently had a 4 day blank at thorney weir so i dont really wanna get a season ticket there because we think we need something a bit easyer, i have looked at all the boyer waters and dont really see anything we like just wanted to know if anyone knew a water that had a good head of carp and chance for a 30 and close 20mins max!! to home really, we dont want it to be a runs water but seeing as we are only in our second season we still wana catch the odd double!!! let me know guys Thanks for ya time!! craig18 Posted April 1, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 1, 2009 Sorry guys I live in iver, I have been looking for ages and I'm begining to give up hope, thorney weir is a great place I just don't think I'm ready for it ATM I mean I have heard good and bass things about the place some say it's a runs water and some say it's rock hard!!! lashy147 Posted April 1, 2009 Report Share Posted April 1, 2009 I doubt you will find a local water with the chance of catching a 30 easy, unless there is a couple of 30's in the lake and the rest mid doubles. Thats not to say a double is not a nice fish, its just if you are out with high hopes of catching a 30 dont be expecting one straight away.
