kentman Posted January 16, 2006 Report Share Posted January 16, 2006 allo dan i went yesterday with a mate it still gets busy so get there early..we fished the praire lake and we had 10 carp between us there was only 2 other fish out all day..people were casting every 5 mins with method feeders..we stuck to single hookbaits..want any more info pm me... jules73 Posted January 16, 2006 Report Share Posted January 16, 2006 Elphicks is a great place to fish, and if you want to catch then Prairie would be my lake of choice at this time of year. Presentation is the key at this time of year, so single hook baits with small PVA bags is your best bet. Pellet or maize is my choice on Prairie and will produce the best results.
