spiv Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 I fished it around 10yrs ago and yes it`s good. Days only and depends what you want from a venue. Plenty of big fish in the res`s. I`m re-joining this forthcoming season. Quote
hawkeyeot Posted February 15, 2009 Author Report Posted February 15, 2009 iam gonna be looking for the carp when i go over there, wot res did you fish and wots a good boilie over there . i normaly use mainline freezer boilies or dumbells if not them then i use my own home made boilies witch are scopex with a hint of sweetner. any tips would be helpfull. thanks Quote
spiv Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Most popular res`s are (in no order) the 1,2 & 3. It can be a race to swims on many occasions, especially weekends. Other side (low/high maynards) are less busy. A lot of nash bait goes in, but most bait catches. Quote
robertharris7 Posted October 16, 2009 Report Posted October 16, 2009 i fished a match on res 1, days was quite quite, and i was told to stick close to the island during the night, however most of the fish came from the open water and margins, so dont get to hooked to the attraction of the island !!!! spod goes ok and the cell is a good bolie. maize is a good particle choise aswell that works !!!
