hi was wandering if any one has fished the todber paddock specimen lake will be fishing this lake in june for 48 hours was hoping to get some info on it like bait and methods i will also try and have a go for the catfish as well so if any one can point me in the right direction ..

i agree with nash_gadgeteer in that the guys at todber are very helpful, as for carp bait you should definitely use the red factor they sell in the shop as the fish are fed on this and recognise it as food.

They do various size and i found the 12mm round and the barrels work very well, and i had a better run of fish when you tip them with fake corn.

 

They also do the glug, pop ups and even pellets in the same flavour.

 

And they do work well elsewhere too...

i think that is a very closely guarded secret, but they smell like some other red boilies i brought about a year ago :?:

i had a look at their website and the catfish seem to like livebaited rudd, aso that would be a good idea if you targetted them!
