gurdy Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 does anyone know what the fishing is like on here and what the waiting list is like? Hi there Rockford is not an easy water at all. If you can locate them they are not that hard to catch. only 120 - 140 fish in 55 acres. waiting list around three years. hope this has helped Cheers Gurdy. Quote
cal35 Posted January 10, 2009 Author Report Posted January 10, 2009 hi, thanks for the reply I live close to the lake, only about 5 miles away. Me and my dad were looking at joining it. we are fairly inexperienced but like being in peaceful surroundings, not puddles in the ground packed with pegs! would it be worth joining? Quote
gurdy Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 I also live ten minutes down the road. Think it maybe a bit of a head banger for you. Im also on new forest water park which is more exspensive but well worth the money if you fish it enough. The big lake is a proper runs water and little lake is harder but full of features, weed, and some cracking carp. Quote
cal35 Posted January 12, 2009 Author Report Posted January 12, 2009 so would you recommend joining that instead? if you are can i ask the original question but about there. cheers Quote
bluebirdjones Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 If the waiting list is 3 years long, maybe you'll be up to the challenge once you've got 3 years more experience and it may be worth putting your name down just in case? Quote
cal35 Posted January 12, 2009 Author Report Posted January 12, 2009 just wondering, if i put my name down would i have to join when my name was at the top or could i decline, any ideas also i could find how much it was to join, but now cant , anyone know Quote
gurdy Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Rockford is £365 this year and when you get offered a place you don,t have to take it. Quote
