welder Posted December 4, 2008 Report Share Posted December 4, 2008 Dave, I have absolutely no idea where this canal is but I'd suggest that you visit the tackle shop nearest to the water and ask if they know who holds the fishing rights. phi77 Posted December 6, 2008 Report Share Posted December 6, 2008 email the waterways they will tell you who as control of the water but as like most canals, clubs have give up the lease and fish it for free cos the waterways can not control the fishing as they do not have the bailiffs to walk it, they are more intrested in unlicened boats. There are a few matchmen that fish it so i'll see if they will tell me anything about the ticket.
