jimmer6666 Posted November 2, 2005 Report Posted November 2, 2005 inline or running rigs, what works best? been using inline leads for a few months now but some of my mate swear by, running rigs and helicopter rigs, my problem with helicopter rigs is that they always seem to come back tangled, so you dont know if your bait is presented ok or your rig is tangled up,what works well for you guys and gals??????? any advice would be great. Quote
carlrac Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 I use running rigs for better bite indication & fish safety as with leadclips & inlines if you have a break off the fish is left with a few ounces of lead hanging from its gob whereas with running leads they just slide off. Quote
salokcinnodrog Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 Have a look at the threads covering fixed vs running leads on the forum. I prefer Heavy running leads, don't often use Inlines at the moment, although with a semi Fixed Inline you can get great indication of a take. I'm not too keen on Helicopter rigs as improperly set up they can be a death rig. Quote
