Tungsten putty

whenever I fish pop ups I allways use tungsten putty to fine ballance the bait, but I find it very often falls off leaving the pop up sat to high off the lake bed, has anyone got any ideas for keeping it on?

either do a stop knot on ur hooklength and wrap the putty round that.

or use gardner critical mass, ive never lost any of that. i find it grips the line much better than heavy metal etc...

stop knot, small shot or leave the scrunched up coating if using coated material and mould it around that.

I tie on a Power Gum stop Knot and use either Kryston or Solar Putty, never had any fall off, except when I play a fish, and I don't mind then anyway.
