onasession Posted June 28, 2008 Report Share Posted June 28, 2008 Hi All, Has anyone done any beach fishing in Cozumel-Mexico ? All i can find is info for deep sea/boat fishing. Would like to know about baits, methods and what not to mess with. Do i need a stiff rod such as a 3lb test carp rod or is a light spinning rod better ? Any help is appreciated. Thanks. nathan83 Posted March 18, 2009 Report Share Posted March 18, 2009 I just took a spinning rod mae, the onlt rouble is you are not allowed to fish off the beach in a lot of the island as it is a nature reserve, all the flats in the north of the island are unfishable and appaently it is the same inthe south near the crocodile farm.saying that i did hace a few jacks and a barracuda from outside the hotel apart from for the cuda i found bait to be better than spinning etc. hope this helps Nathan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
