big_rob Posted July 12, 2005 Report Posted July 12, 2005 im having problems with my links made from flourocarbon, becacuse it comes in a roll, basically i cant keep the them straigt as they tend to coil up when you take it off the spool, even once youve made the link and put it in the rig holder they remain coiled up when its time to use then. will this affect the presentation/ what if anything do you guys do to straighten them? cheers Quote
ghilliegreg Posted July 12, 2005 Report Posted July 12, 2005 To straighten them , pull them straight over the steam from a keetle. .Once pulled through the steam they will stay straight Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 12, 2005 Report Posted July 12, 2005 Or if your out on the bank without a kettle you can put it under tension and pull it across your knee a few times, sounds stupid but it does work! Quote
rfarnan Posted July 14, 2005 Report Posted July 14, 2005 Yep both those methods work, or just stretch it. Pull it hard though to take out the memory. Cash Quote
