Etang-du-Bois, Champagne Region

just wondering if anyone had fished Etang-du-Bois?? it is in the champagne region in NE France,

 

any info would be greatly received thanks

A mate of mine's had a lot of fish out of there, up to mid 50's. I've been trying to find a website for it but no joy. Any idea? I've been told that there is one.

i have noticed that there are 2 Etang du Bois over in france, one is run by boysaway carping, and the other is the one we're going too which isnt advertised anywhere i dont think.

 

i have been on there website,and the lake and fish look fantastic,just was looking for catch reports etc...

do you know much about the lake??

a fair bit mate i know the owner quite well! there are currently 6 50's loads of 40's loads of 30's and a sprinkling of 20's!

there are 2 boats for you to use 8 swims max 6 anglers and i think the lake is about 6 acres.

if you go on the web site dave lane has done a write up on the place that went in one of the monthlys.

yeah i have checked the website and read the write up by dave lane, that and the absolutly stunning fish was the reason we booked up

 

do you know what shape the lake is?? are the swims all on one bank (so you fish the far margins) or are they spread around the lake??

to be honest ive never fished it!

but i do know a lot of work has been done in the last few months around the lake! he planted a lot of trees around the lake to give more privacy! there is some weed but not a lot apparently? there is an island with swims all around.
