:) fished lac de paix in sep-oct 06 1st trip 2 france , arrived 12 ish had first carp by 2.30 27lb mirror dream start half hour later 29lb common couldnt believe it that nite had my first 30 a 32lb mirror 1130pm mate also had a 32lb mirror nice brace great pic on site, rained all week , all on ronnies row , fish up 2 37.5lb all swims on 1 side fishing 2 overhanging trees i thought it was a perfect set up ,The lodge is pretty close aswell all the basics you need realy , directions are spot on found it no probs , only thing he has changed bait companys in the last 12-18 months ,was with kamo-kazi they no longer deal. we fished with 20mm shellfish think he's got similar with the new bait company. I think there is a few 40+s in there and plenty of 30+s as we had five between two of us realy dont think there are 50s in there or realy high 40s either , but depends what you are goin 4 , pegs are well spaced just right , a boat would be an advantage because of th overhangin trees take it right under also you can walk round other side and bait up from their , gona revisit in 09 , hope that shone some light on it m8 , oh yes and no poissoin chat  just returned from a lke with them in , murder

Hi there

Fished it in May this year, first time in France and like the other post it is spot on. Fished from Ronnie Row across to the the over hanging trees and it was spot on had fish every day biggest was 36lb Mirror and also a 32lb Common.

Venue is really good, lodge and showers no more than a minute from most swims.

The only problem we had was tadpoles eating the shell fish bollies, they where covering the whole bait so we didn't fish with them, used pop ups for the week and as I say was good.

The lake is probably no more than 6 ft deep in the deepest parts and there are a lot of gravel bars and we had all of our fish off of these.

Peter the owner is a really nice guy and will help you out as much as he can, he even tied rigs and rowed baits out for one of our guys that was struggling.

The nearest village is about 20mins away so take food with you unless you want a break from the fishing

Myself and the guys rebooked before we left this year and are back in June next year and we can't wait.

When you going, you should have got a DVD from Peter and will give you a good idea of what your getting, if you want to PM me with your email address I will send you some photos of the place and the fish we catch

Good luck
