dazla
Hi - I've been in NJ for about two years now, from the UK originally spending every minute I could fishing for carp when at blightly. Sadly, I haven't been able to do that as yet since arriving in NJ, so I thought its about time to seek out fellow carpers to better understand where I can set-up and give the bait boat a good run I keep reading that carp are in most lakes but can't seem to see any carp listed other than Deal lake, which sounds like a mess and not worth the visit? I live more closely to north NJ, if anyone out there could recommend a few decent lakes, provide any guidance at all I would be most grateful, feels like carping could be a dark art around here but I'm sure I'm wrong!! thank you
buzzbomb
Welcome to the forum. The US based forums seem to have either withered or changed to concentrate on specific methods (ie: fly fishing) so give the scattergun approach a try. https://www.google.com/search?client=ubuntu&hs=4WW&channel=fs&ei=smt9W9-4A-2x0PEP8LW20Aw&q=carp++fishing+new+jersey&oq=carp++fishing+new+jersey&gs_l=psy-ab.3..0j0i22i30k1l4.4078.9520.0.9813.19.15.0.4.4.0.281.2069.0j7j3.10.0....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab..5.14.2120...0i67k1j0i131k1.0.WGyJx0aB5tQ
