Donzaffa
Hi Guys and Gals, I have a question I hope some of you may be able to offer some advice on. I have been an angler for many years but recently got my partner interested in this fine sport of ours. We are looking to join a club to reduce the overall cost through the year. I live in the Wolverhampton area and we are looking to travel a maximum of 30-45 minutes. I have been looking at "Blackford Progressive Angling Society". They have 4 venues and although we prefer float fishing, two of the four seem acceptable for this. The price is quite good and after a quick chat, they seem quite friendly. My question is would any of you recommend this club or alternatively, could you offer any ideas on other ones? I am only looking for lakes and mainly Carp fishing (but all fishing is great) Thank you very much for your time and I look forward to your responses. Regards, Don. cheesynips
Hi there I don't know much about Blackfords but do you know about TAA waters that's only about £25 with about 15 pools loads of decent carp to be had. WULAC is another but that's about £100.
Donzaffa
Hey Cheesynips, Thank you for the advice on the TAA. I have purchased a Blackford's membership now but I may give the TAA a try as well. I heard some negative things about some of the members at WULAC from a guy I have a lot of respect for and with the £25 admin fee on top, I don't have enough free time to make it worth the cost. Again, thank you for your advice.......It's much appreciated my friend Tight Lines!
